Top Reviews
See All ReviewsWe picked this place based on the proximity to our accommodation along with the consistency of great reviews. We had two pizzas and a tomato bruschetta. I personally thought that the bruschetta was excellent, but the pizza average at best compare to other places we’d tried. What put me off slightly was that the food was served on disposable paper plates with plastic cutlery and plastic cups for drinks yet 2 euro coperto was charged. Atmosphere was a classic Neapolitan street in the Spanish quarter with lots of motorbikes passing by. Overall it was good, but my expectations were set higher based on the very high rating.
The food was okay overall. The crocchè was good, but the parmigiana was served cold. I didn’t enjoy the fried pizza — the cheese inside wasn’t melted and the filling was too runny / watery. The sparkling water barely had any fizz, just the flavor. Staff were coughing quite a bit during our visit, which didn’t feel very comfortable. When we asked if the amount of food was too much for two, we were told it wasn't — but we ended up leaving almost a full plate because it was more than we could eat. The terrace area was also quite noisy and not very relaxing, with a strong smell of exhaust from the scooters passing by.
This was the restaurant I least enjoyed. The atmosphere was very bad, on a really poor street and 1 street distant from the main one. The service was not bad, they don’t speak english however they try to be nice. The food was bad, the level of quality was completely different when it comes to comparing to other restaurants, however the food wasn’t frozen, the confection was indeed the worst I have tasted during my time in Naples.
